Ken's History in Pictures

I was born in Oxnard California on March 24, 1963.

In 1967 my family moved to Kernersville, NC.  Continuing on the cowboy theme, I am on our horse Ginger.

Below is my 1st grade picture at the Sedge Garden Elementary School in 1969.  That's me looking down in the center of the back row.

My sister and I on vacation in Florida1972.

I'm the white astronaut, my sister is in black on the other side.  The others are friends from the neighborhood and school.

I was a cubscout.

I have always loved anything that flies.  Here I'm flying a tetra kite (invented by Alexander Graham Bell).

I went to visit my sister who was working in Savannah, GA.  We visited Hilton Head, SC, where this photo was taken.

Graduation from North Carolina State University, May 10th 1985.  I graduated with a degree in Aerospace Engineering.

I designed and built this canard glider in college.  It didn't fly well because of the large pitching moment of the airfoil, and due to low directional stability.

My college senior design project.  I'm in the back row with the white shirt.  Once again, a canard configuration - inspired by the designs of Burt Rutan.

Another original RC design.  The fuselage started as a joined wing design while I was in college, later I changed it to a canard configuration.  This is on the back deck of my first home in St. Peters, MO.

Jeff Lammers and I at a shuttle launch.

A visit to Kitty Hawk, NC on the anniversary of the first flight (Dec 17).

The day I purchased my first Corvette.  It was a 1991 model I bought used in 1992.
