This is Independance Monument in Colorado National Monument near Grand Junction, Colorado. The views great, the cliffs steep and way too close to the road.

This is the first of a theme for this trip. I tried to get a handstand picture at each national park/monumet visited on the trip. This is another view of Independance Monument.

Look carefully under the right side of Delicate Arch in Arches National Park. The photo was taken by a gracious German tourist.
